Coldout LLC is a Delaware limited liability company at 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA. In this policy, “Coldout”, “we” and “us” mean Coldout LLC.
To ask about this policy, or to use any of the rights it describes, write to us at support@coldout.ai.
The Coldout product is not open yet. Until it is, this policy covers our website, coldout.ai, the email people send to our addresses, and what Google gives us when someone signs up for the product or signs in to it with Google. As each part of the product opens, this policy grows to cover it. The date at the top of this page shows which version you are reading.
Our website sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. It loads nothing from another company either: everything a page loads, its fonts and pictures included, is served from coldout.ai itself, so loading a page sends no request to any other address. Our Cookie Policy says more.
To send you a page, our server receives what every browser sends when it asks for one, such as your device’s IP address and the address of the page. We use it to send you that page. We keep no log of visits: an ordinary visit leaves no record of your IP address or of the pages you view.
Our server also writes messages about itself, such as that it has started or that something went wrong inside it. When a request makes something go wrong, the message may include part of what that request carried, such as the address it asked for, and so any personal data the request held. We use these messages only to find and fix faults in our website, and we keep them for one week.
Our website is hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States, in its US East (N. Virginia) region, us-east-1.
You can write to us at support@coldout.ai, security@coldout.ai, contact@coldout.ai and expert@coldout.ai. A message to any of them reaches us with your email address, any name your email program adds to it, and whatever you write or attach.
Our email provider, Namecheap Private Email, receives these messages and keeps them on its servers, which Namecheap’s published help pages place in the United States. We do not forward or copy them anywhere else, and only our two founders read them. We use them to answer you.
We keep each message until one of our founders deletes it. We have no set period after which messages are deleted.
The forms on our Book a demo and Contact sales pages send nothing. What you type in them stays on the page in your browser and reaches neither us nor anyone else, and the form says so when you finish it. To reach us, write to contact@coldout.ai.
When you sign up for Coldout or sign in to it with your Google account, we ask Google only for your name, your email address and your profile picture (Google’s “openid”, “email” and “profile” permissions), and for nothing else in your Google account, such as your contacts, your calendar or your email. Google also tells us whether it has confirmed the address and, for an account that an organisation manages with Google, that organisation’s domain: with these, we make or open an account only for a Gmail address or a Google Workspace account’s address, the two that Google vouches for.
We use them to find your account or, when you sign up with Google and have none, to make it. An account made this way keeps your email address and the name your Google profile gives (cut to 40 characters or, where it gives none, the part of your email address before the @), and may keep a copy of your profile picture, which we make. From then on the name and any picture are your account’s own: a later change to your Google profile does not change them. An account you already have takes nothing from your Google profile when you open it with Google.
Google sends these with an identifier for your Google account and with what it gives us to sign you in. Your account keeps none of that, and so no link to your Google account: the next time you sign in with Google, we find your account by its email address. Nor does your account keep anything else that Google sends us.
A copy of your picture is served from a web address that anyone who has the address can open. The address is made with a random code, so it cannot be worked out from your name or your email address.
We do not sell any of this or share it with any other company. Amazon Web Services runs our product for us, and so holds it for us. What Google itself does with your Google account, and with your signing in with it, its own privacy policy describes.
Besides us, these companies handle the personal data this policy describes:
We do not sell personal data for money.
Each use of personal data that this policy describes, with the legal basis we rely on for it:
| Purpose | Legal basis | The interest |
|---|---|---|
| Sending you the pages you ask for | Legitimate interests, ours | Running a website that anyone can visit |
| Finding and fixing faults in our website, from our server’s messages | Legitimate interests, ours | Keeping our website working |
| Answering the messages you send to our addresses | Legitimate interests, ours and yours | Answering what people write to us |
| Making your account, or opening it, when you sign up or sign in with Google | Contract: the account you ask us for | — |
You can object to any of these that rest on legitimate interests; see Your rights.
Our website runs in the United States, in AWS’s us-east-1 region. The messages sent to our addresses are kept by Namecheap on its servers in the United States.
Wherever you live, you have the rights that the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation and the UK’s version of it (the GDPR and the UK GDPR) give over the personal data we hold about you, as those laws set them out:
To use any of them, write to support@coldout.ai.
When we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page, and it replaces the previous one from the date shown at the top as “Last updated”.
